This is coarse crystalline natural raw magnesite (also called macro-crystalline magnesite) which is almost a natural ore constituted wholly by magnesium carbonates(MgCO3). It is of a rhombohedral crystal structure; often an aggregate of dense lump; more in white or gray color with glass glance; hardness 3.4-5; specific gravity 2.9 - 3.1; and high purity. It is mainly used in the manufacture of refractories and the extraction of magnesium metal. Besides, it is also used in the industries of cement, rubber, paper, sugar, chemical and building materials.
