STC is a low-foaming, premium-quality detergent designed to do the most demanding cleaning jobs at temperatures as low at 90°F (32°C). Although it's formulated primarily for fast and thorough spray and immersion cleaning of ferrous substrates, STC can also be used to clean stainless steel and magnesium. It can be used to clean aluminum and zinc substrates as well, but there will be some chemical attack. STC removes fabricating soils, mill oils, metalworking fluids, drawing compounds and carbonaceous deposits. Because of its sequestering action, STC works well in hard water and it rinses freely.
