Pyrene 1227 is a liquid non-silicated, phosphate-free, mildly alkaline cleaner for mixed metals. Applied by immersion, it removes oils, buffing compounds, and shop soils form steel, aluminum, copper, and brass. Its unique blend of wetting agents and alkalies enable it to penetrate and remove adherent soils, even dried on buffing compounds. Because of its low pH, Pyrene 1227 is easier to dispose of than highly alkaline products and is an ideal soak cleaner prior to electro cleaning.
