Oakite 295 is formulated for anodically cleaning sensitive surfaces of zinc base die castings. Mildly inhibited, it provides non-etch conditioning when used as recommended, creating a surface ideal for subsequent plating of copper, nickel and chrome. It also can be used as a general purpose electro cleaner on a large variety of alloys including steel, stainless steel, brass, bronze and copper, as well as nickel and lead - using direct current.
