Oakite 131 is an inhibited acidic material for removing shop soils, light rust, heat scale and oxides from iron and steel. It is used in metalworking plants where a controlled etch of iron and steel is desired. It is also used for in-place cleaning and descaling of petroleum refinery processing units.
