BP 181 is a low-foaming, low-temperature, alkaline, powdered material that removes a wide variety of soils from most metals. In addition to being an excellent cleaner (with the ability to remove forming and cutting oils, drawing lubricants and other shop soils), BP 181 contains ingredients which activate metal surfaces to improve subsequently applied crystalline phosphate prepaint conversion coatings.
