Locating pin that provides precise location in one axis while allowing considerable float in the perpendicular axis. Usually used together with a Round Pin, to locate from two holes in a workpiece. Tapered tip for easy part loading. Floating pins are functionally similar to Diamond Pins, except they allow greater variation in hole spacing.
