Series Trip (Current) Type Circuit, 0.625 in. Thread Length, Circuit Breakers All “B” and “C” series magnetic circuit breakers are recognized by UL, Inc. and are CSA certified, manufacturer's types ending with "D" are also VDE approved. All products are of a series trip construction, with 6-32 threaded mounting inserts, dual “I-O/ON-OFF” markings on a black toggle actuator, and come with 0.250" tab (Q.C.) terminals on the “B” series, and 10-32 threaded stud terminals on the “C” series. All units are supplied with an all purpose medium, AC-DC delay curve #34, rated at 227 VAC/80 VDC — UL, CSA — VDE 250 VAC/80 VDC (only B/C series VDC approved) with trip times as shown below. Percentage of Rated Current with Trip Time in Seconds: 135% — 1.8-100; 200% — 0.60-20; 400% — 0.15-3; 600% — 0.03-1.3; 800% — 0.004-0.6; 1000% — 0.004-0.1. The C-Series UL489 breakers employ a unique arc chute design which results in obtaining higher interrupting capacities, up to 50000 A. Thermoset glass filled polyester half shell construction for increased mechanical & electrical strength; wiping contacts mechanical linkage with two-step actuation cleans contacts, provides high, positive contact pressure & longer contact life.
