SCP Series protectors were developed as a packaging and shipping container cap to protect an exposed NPT fitting. Our wide and semi-rigid pinwheel design increases the surface area in contact with cardboard packaging, and is flexible enough to absorb the force at the point of impact, preventing breakthroughs, which can ultimately lead to extensive damage.
