What's special about fiberglass braided sleeving?
Thermal Class 240°C
UL VW-1
Dielectric Grade C-3 (no dielectric guaranteed)
Resists solvents and engine fluids
1:1.25 expansion ratio
Fiberglass (FG) sleeving is composed of a tightly braided, highly flexible, continuous filament E glass which has been heat-treated to remove starches and oils, and to "set" the braid. FG maintains about half of its strength at temperatures up to 750°C.
