The PTH-900 Series Automatic Bag Placer is designed
for gusseted and pillow type open-mouth bags. It can
handle paper and laminated polywoven bags at up to
20 bags per minute. The bag placer takes a bag from
a stack and opens it using a vacuum blower. Spacers
enter the bag to open the gusset for optimum filling.
The bag is then placed on the spout for the filling process
and is finally released onto a closing conveyor. This
automatic bag placer has a modular design, which can
be upgraded to a fully automated bagger that reforms
the bag, removes it from the spout and carries it into
the closing system. Control of the bag top is maintained
throughout the process, for optimum reliability.
