The Bonitron M3452 series is a heavy-duty braking transistor designed to prevent overvoltage faults in AC drives by shunting excess DC bus energy to a braking resistor. The M3452-U200YK6-A variant, compatible with 690VAC drives and a 1090VDC bus setpoint, handles a peak braking current of 200A and features a 5.50 Ω resistance. It is housed in a chassis measuring 20.00" x 7.12" x 10.50" and is UL and CUL listed. The unit supports discrete hardwire control with an "A" option and is part of a series rated up to 1600A, with Master/Slave capability available above 200A.
