Flexible Heaters Flexible heaters can supply heat to a wide variety of applications. They can be custom designed to accommodate contours, holes, and geometric shapes, and will deliver uniform temperature. These heaters are ideal for large and small contact areas requiring controlled and even heating. BENCHMARK THERMAL can design and manufacture flexible heating elements for nearly any surface, with or without thermostats and /or thermocouples. Silicone rubber, with a high-strength woven fiberglass core, is the standard sheath material. Kapton, Mica, Vinyl and other sheathings are also available. Whether your application calls for a very thin profile or a reliably consistent heat zone, BENCHMARK THERMAL can provide it. Heaters can be factory vulcanized to a variety of substrates, or supplied with pressure sensitive adhesive for installation at the job site. Removable attachment or closure systems, such as boothooks and springs, D-rings and strap, and Velcro are also available. We design and build custom UL Recognized Component heaters in a wide range of shapes, sizes, wattages and voltages. Please contact us for more information on custom designs.
