The GNRTE12 is an outdoor tactical tight buffered optical fiber cable featuring a loose jacket made from aramid yarns and reinforced with glass yarns for added strength and improved rodent protection. It is equipped with a Polyurethane (PUR) outer jacket and contains 8 multimode OM4 fibers. This cable is designed for both indoor and outdoor applications, suitable for structured wiring systems in industrial, telecom, cable TV, and broadcast networks. It supports various computer network applications, including FDDI, Gigabit Ethernet, and ATM. The cable is not intended for blown installation. The GNRTE12 has a minimum bend radius of 88 mm for short-term installation and 44 mm for long-term operation. It can withstand a maximum tensile strength of 1000 N during installation and has a crush resistance of 5 kN/m for short-term and 3 kN/m for long-term use. The operating temperature range is from -30 ¬8C to +70 ¬8C, with an installation temperature range of -5 ¬8C to +50 ¬8C. The cable is compliant with various standards, including IEC 60794 and ISO/IEC 11801-1, and features UV protection. It is also halogen-free, with a zero halogen amount and low smoke emission characteristics.
