The GIPSFB2 is an indoor semi-tight buffered patchcord featuring a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) outer jacket with a nominal diameter of 1.8mm. It is designed as a duplex zipcord for single-mode (SM) applications, compliant with the G.657.A2 standard and classified under CPR Euroclass Eca. This patchcord is suitable for flexible terminating leads, including pigtails, patchcords, and test leads, and supports various computer network applications such as FDDI, Gigabit Ethernet, and ATM for short-distance indoor use. The patchcord consists of two fibers with TIA color coding (blue and orange) and has a water-tight cable core. It exhibits maximum attenuation rates of 0.40 dB/km at 1310 nm and 0.30 dB/km at both 1550 nm and 1625 nm.
