The GBCED68 is an outdoor optical fiber Multi Loose Tube cable designed for robust performance in various environmental conditions. It features a dry core construction with glass yarns as strength members, ensuring durability and flexibility. The cable is armored with Corrugated Steel Tape, providing full rodent protection, making it suitable for direct burial applications. This cable contains eight tubes, each with a diameter of 2.5mm, housing a total of 168 multimode OM3 fibers arranged in a configuration of seven tubes with 24 fibers each. The outer jacket is made of black polyethylene, which offers UV protection and is designed for outdoor use in structured wiring systems, including industrial and telecom networks. The cable is rated for a wide operating temperature range of -30 ¬8C to +70 ¬8C and has a minimum bend radius of 318 mm for both installation and operation. It can withstand a maximum tensile strength of 6000 N during installation and 2000 N during operation, along with crush resistance ratings of 22 kN/m and 11 kN/m for short-term and long-term use, respectively.
