The GAADE12 is an outdoor dry core optical fiber cable designed for all dielectric self-supporting (ADSS) applications. It features a multi loose tube construction with six tubes, each having a diameter of 2.5mm, containing a total of 12 multimode OM4 fibers. The cable is reinforced with aramid yarns for strength and has a polyethylene outer jacket, providing durability and environmental protection. This cable is suitable for outdoor installations, particularly between poles with a maximum span of 150 meters. It has a low initial sag of 1% at 20¬8C and is designed to withstand a range of environmental conditions, with an operating temperature range of -30 ¬8C to +70 ¬8C. The cable is water-tight and includes waterblocking aramid yarns and tape for added protection against moisture. In terms of performance, the GAADE12 has a maximum attenuation of 0.9 dB/km at 1300 nm and 2.9 dB/km at 850 nm. It meets various industry standards, including IEC 60794 and ISO/IEC 11801-1, and is compliant with RoHS regulations. The cable's construction allows for a minimum bend radius of 244 mm, ensuring flexibility during installation and operation.
