DTL III Ex is a digital temperature limiter for monitoring and controlling heating systems or circuits in hazardous and non-hazardous areas. Equipped with an integrated power supply unit, the device can be used worldwide. It features a 16A switch contact, a volt-free alarm contact, and monitoring functions such as pre-alarm, sensor break, interruption, short-circuit, and measuring range undershooting/oversh ooting. The limiter can be re-activated via a re-set button or remote control after a temperature drop or fault remedy. Additionally, it offers password management for effective parameter protection, and a digital input for load output shutdown during service work. Device parameters can be transferred using a programming key via the programming interface.
