The Atlas Sound FAP42T is a 4-inch coaxial loudspeaker system designed for commercial, industrial, and institutional applications. It features a frequency response of 75Hz to 20kHz with a sensitivity of 88dB, allowing for high-fidelity sound reproduction. The loudspeaker is equipped with a 70.7V/100V transformer with selectable power tappings at 1, 2, 4, 8, and 16 watts, along with an 8Oc bypass option for direct coupling. The enclosure is constructed from deep drawn galvanized steel with an internal volume of 285 in¬=, optimized for low-frequency response. Installation is facilitated by a "Dog Leg" mounting system and a front-mounted tap selector switch, which allows for easy adjustments without removing the speaker. The design includes a detachable Phoenix-style connector for convenient wiring and daisy chaining with other speakers or subwoofers. With a dispersion angle of 130¬8, the FAP42T minimizes the number of speakers needed for adequate coverage in low-ceiling environments. The product is UL 1480 listed and is available in black.
