While polypropylene has not caught up to polyester with respect to dielectric constant, it has surpassed polyester in dielectric strength making it very compatible at voltages of 600V and above. Polypropylene is the most widely used dielectric in the industry. Depending on the application, ASC offers products ranging from lower voltages to higher voltages, low current to high current and a multitude of termination styles.
