Polypropylene Film Foil and Metallized Polypropylene offers the most stable electrical characteristics over temperature and frequency. While polypropylene has not caught up to polyester with respect to dielectric constant, it has surpassed polyester in dielectric strength making it very compatible at voltages of 600V and above. Polypropylene is the most widely used dielectric in the industry.
