Standard and custom plastic shims are available in any required shape and a variety of thicknesses from 0.0005” to 0.060”. Color coding is used for easy, accurate thickness identification. Artus also manufactures plastic Timken shims for cone and cup adjusted taper roller bearings.
Cost saving steel rule dies can be made in 2 to 3 days, reducing lead time on initial orders for new shim designs. There are no set-up charges on subsequent orders.
