Mirrors are secured in a sturdy mount with clear apertures in several sizes. The base of this mirror mount is attached to a 1.5 inch (38mm) mounting rod (sold separately as model 07LSR-1) to provide perpendicular positioning relative to the base-plate and an arbitrary angle relative to the mounting rod. The mirror is sledded into its fitting by finger placement. The fitting is finely tuned in two directions for precision control.
