Richardson RFPD RF Power Transistor MRF148A

The MRF148A is a linear RF power FET designed for power amplifier applications in industrial, commercial, and amateur radio equipment up to 175 MHz. It is packaged in a case style with a thermal resistance of 1.52°C/W from junction to case. The device operates at 50 V with a maximum output power of 30 W, achieving 18 dB gain at 30 MHz and 40% drain efficiency at 30 W PEP. It meets MIL-STD-1311 Version A for intermodulation distortion and is 100% tested for load mismatch at all phase angles with a 30:1 VSWR. The gate-source voltage is limited to ±40 V, and the drain-source breakdown voltage is 120 V. The reverse transfer capacitance is 3 pF, and the device is ESD sensitive requiring proper handling procedures.
