When properly installed into a standard EIA 19" Rack, this power strip provides for the reliable power distribution of up to 3.84 Kilowatts of power via eight NEMA 5-20R outlets available for power up to 120 VAC auxiliary appliances. The power strip's AC inlet is filtered to reduce emissions in Information Technology (IT) applications and provides at least 30db of common mode noise reduction, and even greater differential noise reduction between the frequency ranges of 1 to 10 Megahertz.
In addition, the power strip contains thermally protected Transient Voltage Suppression (TVS) networks, which clamp common mode and differential mode voltage transients with up to 170 Joules of energy content. The Power Strip is also equipped with LED indicator lamps that show a "green" status if the main power input is present, and if the TVS networks are ready and functional. The built-in UL 489 circuit breaker is designed to prevent accidental actuation to the OFF position while in service, but it can be turned OFF manually for equipment maintenance or repair.
