The PIC Wire & Cable RJ45 plug connector is a shielded connector designed for Cat 5e and Cat 6 cables with conductor outer diameters between 0.044 and 0.048 inches. It features a polycarbonate housing, phosphor bronze contacts plated with gold, and a brass alloy 70/30 shield. The connector supports up to 1.5 amps at 30 VAC/42 VDC, has a maximum contact resistance of 10 milliohms, and operates from -40°C to +85°C. It includes dual-wall ATUM heat shrink strain relief tubes and meets ANSI/TIA-1096-A and ANSI/TIA/EIA 568-C.2 standards. The unit weighs 0.16 ounces (4.54 grams) and is RoHS compliant. The connector requires crimp tool P/N 110288 for termination.
