The X150-48/B is a high voltage DC to DC converter from the X150 Series by American Power Design, Inc., designed to deliver 150 watts of power. It operates within an input voltage range of 20-60 Vdc and provides an output voltage of 48 Vdc at a maximum current of 3 A. The converter features excellent voltage accuracy of +/- 1%, line regulation of +/- 0.2%, and load regulation of +/- 0.3%. It has a low output ripple of less than 0.3% P-P and operates efficiently with a typical efficiency of 90%. The device is built to withstand extreme temperatures, with an operating case temperature range of -45 to +85°C and a storage temperature range of -55 to +100°C. It includes continuous short circuit protection and is encapsulated in a UL 94V-0 epoxy material, ensuring durability. The converter is housed in a six-sided shielded metal case, which aids in EMI/RFI protection. It also supports remote on/off control and features independently isolated outputs, making it suitable for various applications requiring high voltage conversion.
The X150 Series of DC/DC converters accepts wide input ranges of 18-36Vdc, 20-60Vdc, 36-72Vdc. Outputs are isolated to 1kVdc. In the case of duals, the outputs are completely independent including overload protection. All models will tolerate a short circuit indefinitely. Also included is a PI Network input filter and remote on/off.
