Miyachi Unitek is pleased to announce the release of the new LW2AG 5W 'green' laser welder which offers increased weld speed (2.5x), penetration (~30%) and integration flexibility (2 energy- or time-share outputs) over the 2W model. The LW2AG utilizes a 532nm wavelength in the visible (green) spectrum which is better absorbed by highly reflective materials enabling precision micro-welding of gold and copper alloys - industrial applications that cannot be done with a traditional 1064nm YAG laser.
