The RP4203 is a compact RCCB Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker from Altech Corp., designed to detect and interrupt earth faults. It is VDE approved for use in European systems, providing protection against dangerous line-to-ground currents. This model features a fault trip current rating of 30mA, making it suitable for ground fault protection of equipment, particularly in environments with high distributed capacitance that may cause nuisance trips. The device is capable of operating effectively in a temperature range of -25¬8C to 40¬8C and is tested for sensitivity to both pulsed and sinusoidal fault currents. It is also designed to withstand vibration and has an integral test circuit for functionality verification. The RP4203 is suitable for various applications, including equipment protection and fire prevention, limiting fault energy to below ignition thresholds for many materials.
RCCb Series compact Earth Leakage Circuit Breakers detect and interrupt earth (ground) faults. They are VDE approved for the European system of protecting people, animals, equipment and property from dangerous line-to-ground and shock hazard cur rents. US applications include ground fault protection of equipment (GFPE) using the 10mA and 30mA fault current ratings, especially when high distributed capacitance or other leakages cause excessive nuisance trips at lower fault cur rents. Applications for the 300mA and 500mA ratings are equipment protection and fire prevention, limiting the energy of a fault to less than the minimum ignition energy for many materials.
