The CGT16N Ground Terminal Block from Altech Corp. is designed for grounding applications and features a yellow/green color code in accordance with industry standards. It utilizes a screw clamp connection that mechanically secures to the DIN rail by tightening a middle screw, allowing the rail to function as a grounding busbar. This terminal block is compatible with wire sizes ranging from 22 AWG to 8 AWG (0.2 mm¬= to 6 mm¬=) and supports a voltage rating of up to 1000 V AC/DC. The insulation material is polyamide 66, providing high mechanical strength and self-extinguishing properties. The CGT16N is suitable for use in various environments, ensuring reliable and safe connections.
Suitable for use in high temperature applications up to 600°C (1112°F). Applications include hot melt glue guns, furnaces, heaters, process equipment and machinery. Terminal blocks are offered with mounting holes for panel mounting or free floating applications.
