FIT Heat Shrink Tubing, part number F6503/8, is constructed from flexible fluoroelastomer material, providing a minimum supplied inner diameter of 0.375 inches and a maximum recovered inner diameter of 0.187 inches. The nominal recovered wall thickness is 0.035 inches, and the tubing is available in black. It features a shrink ratio of approximately 2:1 and operates effectively within a temperature range of -40 to 200¬8C, with a full recovery temperature of 175¬8C and a minimum shrink temperature of 130¬8C. The tubing exhibits a minimum tensile strength of 1200 psi and a minimum elongation of 250%, as per ASTM D638 standards. It is self-extinguishing within 15 seconds and demonstrates excellent resistance to water absorption (0.50% max) and corrosion. The product is compliant with EU RoHS directives and does not contain substances of very high concern as per REACH regulations. It has a shelf life of two years when stored at temperatures between 18 to 35¬8C. This tubing is suitable for applications requiring reliable insulation and protection in various environmental conditions.
