AONS420A70 is a 700V N-channel power MOSFET designed for PFC and PWM stages in adapter, server, and industrial power supplies. It is packaged in a DFN5x6F surface-mount case with a maximum junction temperature of 150°C. The device has a maximum on-resistance of 0.42Ω at 10V gate drive, a continuous drain current of 7.5A at 100°C case temperature, and a pulsed drain current of 46A. The gate charge is 21.5nC, and it features enhanced body diode performance with a reverse recovery time of 310ns. The part is 100% tested for unclamped inductive switching and has a single-pulse avalanche energy rating of 50mJ. Thermal resistance from junction to case is up to 0.68°C/W, and junction-to-ambient thermal resistance is 45 to 55°C/W under steady-state conditions.
