ULTRA Series Cy®5 fluorescence filter set designed to provide bright, high-contrast images of Cy®5-stained samples when illuminated with an LED light source. This filter set is also ideal for obtaining high signal-to-noise ratios for Cy®5 or Quasar® 670 probes used in real-time qPCR. It is alternately an excellent fit for Alexa Fluor® 647, DRAQ5™, and all other similar fluorophores. ULTRA Series filter sets provide better overall performance than our standard filter sets by using a combination of tight wavelength control (typically ± 1.5 nm), ultra-steep edges, deeper blocking, and the industry’s highest transmission levels. They are also specified to produce zero pixel shift when filters are switched out in order to image multiple fluorophores in a single sample. All Alluxa optical filters are durable and hard-coated using our innovative SIRRUS™ plasma deposition process.
