ALD offers a line of Supercapacitor Auto Balancing Integrated Circuits (IC) as well as SAB and SABOVP (Over-Voltage Protection) Printed Circuit Boards (PCB). The SAB PCBs provide active continuous leakage current regulation and self-balancing of unlimited quantities of stacked series-connected supercapacitors. These products, when used in appropriately designed applications, dissipate near-zero leakage currents, practically eliminating extra power dissipation. Supercapacitors connected in series stacks can be balanced with various combinations of multiple cascaded SABMB or SABMBOVP packages.
