PolySil™ S583 is a polyester film tape coated with a white opaque silicone adhesive, specifically compounded to resist plating bath chemicals in solder stripping and precious metal plating of finger contacts. The tape conforms to high circuit density patterns to provide clean line definition and resist undercutting. The tape can be removed without leaving adhesive residue, eliminating the need for subsequent solvent scrubbing.
