PolySil™ S500C consists of a polyester (PET) film coated with a crosslinked silicone adhesive. This protective masking tape removes cleanly with no adhesive residue. The PET film backing resists shrinkage after exposure to elevated temperatures. The product can be used to protect a variety of substrates during fabrication, installation, handling, and shipping.
