Fire stop cable chase kits provide a complete sleeve / acoustical / firestop solution in a single package for all of your cable chase needs. All you add are the firewalls and your cables!
The Kit provide everything you need to install a UL Classified and code compliant cable penetration. Fire stop cable chase kits make the job more profitable by saving the installer time at the job site. No need to cut conduit and strut. No external caulking. the cable chase installs in just minutes.
The cable chase kit includes not only the cable chase sleeve, but easy mount wall plates, enough putty to acoustically seal both ends of the wall penetrations, external firestop gaskets, and wall labels. Sound Sleeves are UL Classified for up to 4 hours and are available in a one piece sleeve/plate design for new cable installations as well as a split design for installation around previously installed cables.
The kits include a 12" long steel sleeve, to be used on walls up to 10" thick, available in a 1", 2" or 4" diameter, with corresponding sized steel escutcheon plates, which lock the device in place and firestop putty to seal the end of the sleeve.
