INSTAbond® 1645 line is a methoxycuring (neutral cure) silicone that reacts with atmospheric moisture at room temperature to create a non-corrosive seal. INSTAbond® 1645 is designed for use on sensitive electrical components where typical acetic cure products create problems.
INSTAbond® 1645 has high tensile strength, tear strength and is resistance to moisture, ozone exposure andweathering. It also provides thermal stability, has a wide service temperature range and is non- sagging for overhead or vertical applications. INSTAbond® 1645 meets UL requirements under file E-40195 (N), QMFZ2. INSTAbond® 1645 Clear will fluoresce under for UV inspection and INSTAbond® 1645 Gray is excellent for high temperature applications.
