Low voltage molded case circuit breakers from 400A up to 3000A. Tmax T5 to Tmax T8 have undergone a severe sequence of test in accordance to UL 489 to obtain UL listing and UL marking. Certification in accordance to UL 489 has been extended to the most common accessories as well. Tmax T5 and T6 are the molded case circuit breakers with the best performance/size ratio. T5 offers a maximum short circuit breaking capacity of 150kA at 480V and 100kA at 600V. T5 and T6 have the same depth, simplifying their positioning in the switchboard compartments, and share the same internal electrical accessories. Thermal magnetic and electronic trip units make T5 and T6 suitable for AC and DC applications. Tmax T7 is available in two versions up to 1200 A either with operating toggle or in motorizable version. Electrical performances are consistent with the rest of the range with a maximum breaking capacity of 100kA at 480V and 65kA at 600 V. A wide range of dip switches and LCD electronic trip units can be selected according to plant requirements. Tmax T8 covers 2000 A, 2500 A and 3000 A frame sizes breaking capacities of 125 kA at 480 V and 100 kA at 600 V. It is equipped with PR331/P and PR332/P, same electronic trip units as Tmax T7, thereby guaranteeing extremely high performances able to satisfy all installation requirements. Adequately sized for the performances offered, it is supplied as standard with front terminals up to 2500 A, whereas the 3000 A frame is always supplied with rear vertical terminals. Tmax molded case circuit breakers tested and certified in accordance to UL 489 and CSA C22.2 carry IEC marking as well, so they are the perfect solution for those OEMs looking for a product that is globally recognized and accepted.
