The DFM 27 Multi-Parameter Digital Mass Flow Meter from Aalborg Instruments measures flow, pressure, and temperature with an accuracy of ¬±1% of full scale. It operates within a pressure range of 5 to 100 psia and a temperature range of 2 ¬8F to 122 ¬8F. The device features a four-button keypad and LCD for local programming, as well as remote programming capabilities via RS-232 or RS-485 interfaces. It includes functions such as flow totalization, alarms for flow, temperature, and pressure, and automatic zero adjustment. The DFM 27 supports multiple output signals, including 0-5 Vdc, 0-10 Vdc, and 4-20 mA, and can store calibration data for up to 10 different gases. The meter is constructed with 316 stainless steel and Viton O-rings, ensuring durability in various applications. It is suitable for environments with gas and ambient temperatures ranging from 32 ¬8F to 122 ¬8F.
The flow rate can be displayed in volumetric flow or
mass flow engineering units for standard or actual
(temperature, pressure) conditions. Flow meters can
be programmed locally by the four button keypad and
LCD or remotely via RS-232/RS-485 interface.
DFM flow meters support various functions including:
flow totalizer, flow, temperature, pressure alarms,
automatic zero adjustment, 2 relay outputs, 0-5 Vdc /
0-10 Vdc / 4-20 mA analog outputs for flow, pressure
and temperature.
