Universal Wire Works Inc. Stainless Steel Alloy Universal 310

Description
Universal 310 electrodes were developed for the welding of 310 stainless steel. The deposited weld metal exhibits the same chemical analysis and oxidation resistance as the 310 base metal. Maintenance engineers have for years considered Alloy 310 a general purpose electrode for welding almost every analysis of carbon or alloy steels. Preheating to approximately 300 to 500 degrees F will produce strong crack free welds in dissimilar steels. Alloy 310 is often used for welding 410, 430, and 502 in field welding where it is not possible to preheat or anneal after welding.
