Unilux, Inc. Cadet

Description
When size matters, the Cadet from Unilux has the capability for wide-web converting and labeling inspection. The Cadet combines the focusing capability of the Lith-O-Light (LOL) 40 and the power of the HD 851, making it ideal for slitters with tandem rewinds located two to three feet from the light source. The Cadet eliminates the need to backlight films on converting lines when using the LOL-40 and the need to mount the light less than 18 inches from the inspection point, which sometimes doesn't illuminate the lower rolls as well as desired. For some HD 851 uses, the Cadet will give printers and converters more flexibility in mounting lights and enable them to illuminate only the inspection area. The Cadet has four times the power of the LOL-40 with half the profile of the HD851. Its combination of lighting power and reflector design enable the Cadet to cover webs up to 40 inches (1m) wide.
