Among the multiple applications within the Power tool sector, Thor Power has initially developed the GRISMIR 3000, a professional grinder which will compete against seven and nine-inch angle grinders already present in the market and used in continuous heavy duty industrial environments such as ship yards, forges and foundries, and generally, job shop metal working businesses. Moreover, due to its variable speed control the GRISMIR 3000 can replace the need for three to five additional tools.
The reason this application has been chosen is due to its modular, robust design, offering the most benefits for both operators and companies as customers. Currently, grinders product dust which is hazardous to the operator, tool, and environment.
