The LM5100A is a high-voltage gate driver designed to independently control high-side and low-side N-channel MOSFETs in synchronous buck or half-bridge configurations. It provides a peak output current of 3A and operates with a bootstrap supply voltage up to 118V DC. The device features fast propagation times of 25 ns typical, with 8 ns rise and fall times when driving a 1000 pF load, and 3 ns typical propagation delay matching. It includes under-voltage lockout on both power rails and CMOS input thresholds. The part is packaged in an SOIC-8 package, measuring 4.9 mm by 3.9 mm, and is pin-compatible with HIP2100. An integrated high-voltage diode supports bootstrap capacitor charging.
