Doors and frames are 16-gauge, white powder-coated steel, making them strong and cleanroom compatible. These steel, fire-rated doors come complete with lock-prep and frame; hinges, closer and lock mechanism not included.
Windows provide visibility into the room beyond, and maintain the high ratings outlined by UL and ANSI for fire- and impact-rated safety windows. Wired glass is ¼"-thick with a surface-applied fire-rated laminate. Windows are held in place using non-contaminating silicone caulk.
Two lock-prep options are available. The cylindrical lock prep is government 161 with 2-3/4" backset; the 86 mortise lock prep has a 2-3/4" backset trim cutout. Locking mechanisms preserve the safe fire-rating of the door. Preps can be placed on left- or right-hand sides (specify at time of order).
