Style MTA2 mineral insulated (MI) cable thermocouple assemblies are temperature sensing devices with standard plug or jack terminations, available in Type J and K configurations with 316 stainless steel or Alloy 600 sheaths. The assemblies feature hollow pins as standard and are rated for continuous operation up to 350°F (177°C) with intermittent ratings up to 1000°F (538°C). Sheath diameters range from 0.020″ to 0.375″, and junction types include exposed, grounded, and ungrounded. The assemblies are designed for high-temperature environments up to 2150°F (1177°C) with ANSI standard calibrations and can be formed around a mandrel four times the sheath diameter.
