The WGV Series IP68 Waterproof Enclosure from Takachi Electronics Enclosure Co., Ltd. is designed for high-performance applications, providing protection against immersion for up to 24 hours at a depth of 1 meter. Constructed from UV-resistant ASA material, it is suitable for outdoor use, particularly for communication and network devices. The enclosure features a silicone waterproof gasket and self-tapping captive screws that secure the cover, preventing loss during maintenance. Additionally, it includes a ventilation plug that equalizes pressure differences, helping to prevent deformation due to temperature fluctuations. The operating temperature range is from -30°C to +60°C, making it versatile for various environmental conditions. Optional terminal blocks can be installed without additional processing, allowing the enclosure to function as a terminal junction box.

Ventilation plug protects the enclosure from deformation by equalizing the pressure in environments where there are differences between strong daytime and low nighttime temperatures, as well as venting the gas generated within.
