The G30-56-F is a 1.7kW programmable DC power supply designed for automotive test applications, featuring fast output dynamics with rise time under 1ms and fall time under 2.5ms. It provides a 0 to 30V output range with a maximum current of 56A and an output capacitance of 1.96mF. The device employs forced air-cooling, measures 423mm wide, 43.6mm high, and 441.5mm deep without busbars, and weighs less than 5kg. It includes built-in communication interfaces such as USB, LAN, RS-232/RS-485, and an isolated analog program/monitor interface. Protective functions include foldback, over-voltage, under-voltage, and over-temperature protection. The power supply complies with UL61010-1, CSA22.2 No.61010-1, IEC61010-1, and EN61010-1 safety standards and carries a 5-year warranty.
The new, five year warranty, GENESYS+™ 1U programmable power supply series is available in 1kW, 1.7kW, 2.7kW, 3.4kW, 5kW and 7.5kW 19” rack models and can deliver power ratings up to 7520W, with the highest power density and lightest weight (< 5kg for the 1.7kW, <7.5kg for the 5kW, < 8.5kg for the 7.5kW) available in a 1U rack size.
The latest 5kW and 7.5kW models offer output voltages up to 1500V and the maximum output current for the product family is 500A with constant voltage, constant current and constant power operation. Control of voltage and current slew rate, arbitrary waveform generation and storage, internal resistance simulation and display brightness control are all standard features.
Multiple remote programming methods are available including LAN (LXI 1.5), USB, RS-232/RS-485 and isolated analogue interfaces (0-5V/0-10V) built in as standard .
Interface options include EtherCAT, Modbus-TCP, IEEE (488.2) and isolated analogue current loop (4-20mA).
A unique, easy auto configuring master / slave paralleling system enables scalable power systems up to 90kW to be configured.
Special options for extra fast programming response, aimed at automotive test applications, and integral power sink are available on selected models.
1kW and 1.7kW models accept single phase input 85-265Vac.
2.7kW and 3.4kW models can be specified with single phase 170-265Vac input or three-phase 170-265Vac, 342-460Vac or 342-528Vac input.
5kW models can be ordered to accept three-phase 170-265Vac, 342-460Vac or 342-528Vac input.
7.5kW and 5kW 1kV 1.5kV models can be ordered to accept three-phase 170-265Vac or 342-528Vac input.
