Typical System Application
Model SD-22000-19 Series Vibration test system is a versatile wide frequency band electrodynamic vibration test system. It is designed to test small to large sized payloads such as spacecraft components, large mechanical structures, automotive systems that require high force, most military products, etc. The system consists of a model SD-22000-19 shaker and is driven by the model DA-100 power amplifier and the model CU-100 water cooling unit.
Wide Useable Frequency Band
The high performance shaker powered by an efficient DA-100 switching power amplifier operates over a useful frequency range from 5 to 2,500 Hz. The amplifier is designed using the latest IGBT module Technology.
High Fundamental Resonant Frequency
A unique light weight stiff aluminum alloy is employed for the armature to increase the first resonance to 2,100 Hz. A STIFF armature increases the probability that your test loads will not reduce the first resonant frequency. An optional magnesium armature is also available for alternative applications.
High Overturning Moment
Armature design incorporates four robust roller-structures for top guidance and a unique roller-bearing for bottom guidance. The distance between the top and bottom guidance systems is longer many systems, enhancing stability. This approach helps reduce the overturning moment for heavy products which may have a high center of gravity.
Water Cooling Unit: CU-100
The water-cooled shaker series incorporate the industry’s most advanced and efficient coil cooling technique, called “Parallel-Concurrent
” Coil Cooling. The parallel cooling technique surpasses other manufacturers’ series cooling designs in thermal transfer efficiency during full load operation.
Automatic Internal Pneumatic For High Payload
A superior pneumatic load support system guarantees a full nominal displacement with a maximum vertical load up to 2645 lbs (1,200 kg) for test specimen and fixture. An optional auto-centering pneumatic load support system is available to enhance the performance of the system.
Standard Vertical and Horizontal Operation
The SD-22000-19 shaker comes standard with VH configuration. The shaker can be operated in either a vertical or a horizontal direction and can be used in combination with an integrated or stand-alone slip table or environmental chamber with optional thermal barrier. An optional worm wheel system may be applied to the trunnion making it is easier to change the thrust direction.
Safety
The emergency stop switches on shaker body and amplifier are installed. All the inner terminals are people safe. An armature temperature monitor is included.
