The DO7010 micro ohmmeter is a practical instrument for low resistance and bonding resistance measurement, ideal for use in the workshop, field or test facilities. It is of rugged construction, contained in a sealed case. With a measuring range of 600µ? to 60? with 0.1 and 10m? resolution respectively, the lightweight DO7010 can measure with switchable current levels of 1A or 10A on all except the highest range. Externally recharged NiMh battery packs can be replaced quickly via the front panel to ensure minimum downtime anywhere. Typical applications can include measuring bonding resistance of vehicle bodies, aircraft frames and equipment, calibration measurements and resistance measurements of electronic components and switches. In the power and utilities sectors, the DO7010 can be used for the measurement of underground cable joints and assessment of earthing and contactor resistance in substations. The DO7010 has many advanced features including, Auto ranging, Auto power off, Auto measure trigger when leads are connected to the DUT, data logging, replaceable battery pack, Hi-Lo limits , Graphics display with backlight, and built in test resistance for confidence check. Rechargeable NiMhd batteries means real portability with more than 1000 readings from a single charge, to ensure that downtime is minimised the battery pack can be easily and quickly withdrawn from the front panel and replaced with a fully charged unit, battery charge indicators are provided. A front panel socket provides a serial RS232 output which may connect direct to a PC or used with the optional remote terminal which will allow operation of the DO7010 up to 15 metres distance. The DO7010 is supplied ready for use with batteries and mains charger and a variety of test lead configurations are offered.
