The 1658 is a rewireable IEC C21 cord connector designed for very hot conditions up to 155 °C, with protection class I. It supports cable diameters of 6.5 to 16 mm and wire sizes from 1.0 mm² to 1.5 mm² (16 to 12 AWG). The connector is rated for 16 A at 250 VAC (IEC) and 20 A at 250 VAC (UL/CSA). It complies with IEC 60320-1, UL 60320-1, and CSA C22.2 No. 60320-1, and is suitable for use in equipment according to IEC/UL 62368-1. The housing is made of black thermoplastic with UL 94V-0 rating. Terminal screw torque is 0.8 Nm for terminals and 0.4 Nm for cable clamp and cover. The unit is packaged in quantities of 50 pieces and measures 95.3 mm in length, 92 mm in width, and 33.2 mm in height.
